Acts 10:23-25 – The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the believers from Joppa went along. 24 The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence.
Many people take great care and put great effort into making their house feel like a home. From the color of paint, type of furniture and flooring, people want their home to make a statement to family and friends. While it is nice to want our house to look nice, we must remember that all that is merely temporary. The greatest impact you can have in your home is to bring the Lord and His Word into it for all to see, hear and feel. It is up to each of us to make sure our family feels His presence, peace and power. It is up to us to make our home welcoming to Him so that He will want to reside with us there. Your house can and will make a statement if you first invite the Lord to dwell with you there.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
