What Makes a Great Prophet?

2 Kings 5:10,14 – 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean …. 14 So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”

We read of many great men of God in the Old Testament that were identified as great prophets, but why were they? “10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.” A great prophet was one who had great faith, was obedient to the Lord and followed His instructions. No, we may never be great prophets, but we can always be considered a great believer. I pray you will live out your faith today so that all will take notice.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
