Hebrews 5:12-14 = 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of [x]use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
One of the many things that COVID taught us is the importance and need for teachers. When students were forced to stay at home and learn online, it placed a greater importance on the parents to become more like teachers. I suspect, for the first time, many people realized the important role that teachers play in our children’s lives. I realize that I am biased because both of my parents were public school teachers, but none the less, teachers are critical to the education of our children. The same can be said for our spiritual life. We all need teachers that will work with us, walk with us and allow us to grow more and more into His Word. It is not something that the Lord wants us to do on our own, because He has called teachers to assist us on our Journey. I pray that you have those Godly teachers in your life that are assisting you on your Journey and making God’s Word become more alive to you everyday.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
