Acts 17:30 – 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
Repentance is not something that God requests, it is something that He demands. If we are to live in His Will, in obedience to His Word, we must sanctify ourselves. In other words, we must separate ourselves from the sin that currently resides in our lives and controls us. If you are not currently resting in His peace and joy, you must ask yourself “why not?” The Bible tells us that it is sin that separates us from God and true repentance that brings us back into relationship with Him. If you truly desire a real relationship with the Lord, it must first start with true (actual/meaningful) repentance on our part; we must walk away from our sin. Without that, we can never live in His will and resting in His peace.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
