Luke 23:23-25 – 23 But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed. 24 So Pilate decided to grant their demand. 25 He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.
The sign of a good leader is to have the strength to stand up for what is right and not cower to demands that are wrong. Jesus’ “trials” show just how weak the Roman leadership was at that time. Even though they knew Jesus to be innocent, they succumb to the pressure of the crowd and did what was wrong. I hope that you will stand with me and pray for all of our leaders that they would always do what is right in God’s eyes and not be swayed by voices telling them to ignore God’s Word.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
