The Day of Cleansing

Leviticus 14:1-2 – 14 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. Now he shall be brought to the priest,
We in “sunny” Southern California have been experiencing a rather large amount of rain this year. No, I am not complaining because it is exactly what we have been praying for. What I have noticed, however, is that all of the rain tends to leave cars somewhat dirty. It seems that we need to wash our cars before the next storm so that our cars don’t get too dirty. Yes, the storms may bring some dirt, but we can easily wash it away.
I was thinking about washing today as I was reading in Leviticus 14. God told Moses that we are in “the day of his cleansing”. We may all get a little dirt on us as we endure the storms in our lives, but because Jesus came and died on the cross, we are all in a “day of cleansing”. It is only Jesus that can wash away our sin and make us clean. Rejoice in the fact that Jesus has made us all clean and restores us each day!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
