The Best Plan

Numbers 14:1-2 – 14 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?”

We pray for God’s plan in our life, yet we question and complain when it happens. We expect God’s plan to be peaceful, successful, quick and when that doesn’t happen, we refuse to believe that His plan is what we need. In today’s Word we read, “Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword”.  We must remember that what looks like a “bad” plan in our eyes is still the best plan in God’s eyes. The Lord will never take you through a wilderness without leading you to the “promised” land that He has for you. Trust in Him, in his purpose and His plan — the best plan.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
