Scattering Seeds

Acts 8:4-8 – Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

Some think that COVID has hurt the church. I tend to disagree. In fact, I believe that it has helped the church. Why? Because it has forced us to become more creative and inventive on how we spread the Gospel online and in person. Having church outside has attracted people to come who might not otherwise feel comfortable setting foot inside of a church building. The early church was scattered, but that is what the Lord wanted so that they could fulfill the Great Commission to spread the Gospel to all ends of the earth. Even today, there are many great opportunities for us to scatter seeds to the lost and broken all around us. Now, it is up to us to do the work and fulfill our part of the Great Commission.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
