Acts 9:20-22 – 20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God. 21 Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?” 22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.
I have often said that the devil is the first to get you to sin and then the first to make you feel bad about it. In fact, he is so good at that, that some people never recover from the guilt and shame of what they have done in the past. The Lord, on the other hand, does not focus on your past, but wants you to see the future He has in store for you. The devil wants you to look back, but in the Book of Isaiah, the Lord says that He will not remember our sins when we confess and repent. The Lord used Paul’s past, not to bring guilt and shame to him, but to show others how the love of Jesus Christ can change them. You, no matter what you have done in the past, are a transformation story just waiting to be shared with the world. Repent and confess for the past and then rest and have peace in your future.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
