It Is Wise to be Wise

Ephesians 1:17 – 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
In the Old Testament, we read of King Solomon. God told him that he would give him anything he requested. Rather than ask for riches, land, wives or anything else, King Solomon asked to for wisdom. As we read that story in the Old Testament, I am sure that many people think of all of the things they would have asked for, but not wisdom.
Paul reminds us today that we too should ask for “a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him”. Remember, it is wise to be wise. We should all ask for wisdom and revelation because it is through that that we can see more of who Jesus is. As we understand Jesus more, we can better serve like Him and love like Him. To act more like Jesus is the greatest gift that we can give to others and to ourselves.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
