In God’s Time

Luke 1:13-14 – 13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.

We may never understand why the Lord does not answer our prayers when we want, but we must have faith that He does according to His timing. Before the Lord would announce the birth of Jesus to Mary, He first had to announce the birth of John to Zaharias, “and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son”. Christmas is a good time to remember that God does answer our prayers according to His plan and in ways  that far exceed our expectations. Give thanks when others have prayers answered because it might just be a part of the Lord’s answer to your prayer.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
