Humbly Bow

2 Samuel 16:4 – So the king said to Ziba, “Here, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” And Ziba said, “I humbly bow before you, that I may find favor in your sight, my lord, O king!”

How often do we take the Lord for granted? Yes, we may know “of” Jesus, but do we really know Jesus? Personally, I believe that there are more that know “of” Him and less that truly know Him. Why do I say that? Because if we did know Him, we would treat Him differently.

In today’s verse we read, “I humbly bow before you, that I may find favor in your sight, my lord, O king!” When is the last time that you humbly bowed before the Lord, not asking for anything but simply acknowledging the Him for who He is? Jesus is not our friend, He is our Father. My prayer for all of us today is that we will really know Jesus and not just know “of” Him.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
