Greet Each Other Warmly

Acts 21:17-19 – 17 When we arrived at Jerusalem, the brothers and sisters received us warmly. 18 The next day Paul and the rest of us went to see James, and all the elders were present. 19 Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.

Each week, when you attend church, you are given a unique opportunity to show someone new God’s love. In fact, studies have shown that within the first 7 minutes of someone entering into a church for the first time, they have already determined whether or not they will return; long before they hear a sermon. How can they make a decision so quickly? Well, I personally believe part of what helps them decide is how they are greeted by others at the church. Remember, even at church, we have a responsibility to fellowship and show God’s love not just to the people we know, but also to the visitors and people we don’t know. Since we are all in the same family, we should all feel like we belong to the same family.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
