Mark 6:31- 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
This summer we were given the opportunity to go visit the incredible beauty of South Dakota. There is so much to do here from horseback riding, fishing, biking, visiting attractions . . . the list goes on and on. Yet, every morning before anything else, we sought God. We sat outside, turned on worship music and sat in His presence. “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” The simple things in life like a running stream, the trees glimmering in the sun, and the birds soaring in the sky were something that really drew me into the reminder that we sever such an awesome Creator. My prayer for you is that you will find a quiet place where you can rest in the presence of our Father. There is no greater place to get away to — than to the presence of God. Find the time!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
