Eyes on the Future

Hebrews 9:11 – 11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.

There is one thing that can be said about the storms of life — you are either in one, leaving one or getting ready to enter one. In other words, storms are a natural part of life that cannot be avoided, ignored or disregarded. Storms happen so we need to be prepared. There are many ways to prepare ourselves for the storms, but I believe one of the most important ways to prepare is to realize that they will not last forever. When we are in the midst of a storm, we must keep our eyes focused on the future. A time where there will be no more storms, no more pain, no more suffering — a time when will will reside with Jesus in Heaven. Remember, if we keep our eyes on the future, our present might not seem so bad.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
