Bad Advice

2 Chronicles 10:10-11 – 10 Then the young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, “Thus you should speak to the people who have spoken to you, saying, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you make it lighter on us’—thus you shall say to them: ‘My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s waist! 11 And now, whereas my father put a heavy yoke on you, I will add to your yoke; my father chastised you with whips, but Iwill chastise you with scourges!’ ”

We all need advice, we all need people we can trust to give us that advice. There are many people that will be willing to give you advice, but there are less few that you should listen to. As you seek those to get counsel from, make sure you seek those that first seek the Lord. Not all advice is good, more importantly, not all advice is Godly. The wrong advice can lead you down the wrong path — a path that will not be pleasing to the Lord.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
